Section Text · Sec. 1635.

(a) Limitation on reallocation of funds

Funds authorized to be appropriated for the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2027 for activities at the Ronald Reagan Space and Missile Test Range or the United States Army Garrison Kwajalein Atoll—

(1)

may be obligated or expended only for the purposes for which such funds are authorized and appropriated; and

(2)

except as expressly authorized by law, may not be transferred or reprogrammed for a purpose other than the purposes for which such funds are authorized and appropriated.

(b) Exception

The limitation under subsection (a)(2) shall not apply with respect to any transfer or reprogramming action that is carried out in accordance with section 2214 of title 10, United States Code.
