Section Text · Sec. 1872.

(a) Purposes

Section 4952(1) of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 861 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 ( Public Law 119–60 ), is amended by striking furnishing procurement technical assistance and inserting furnishing confidential procurement technical assistance .

(b) Increased funding limits

Section 4955 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 861(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 ( Public Law 119–60 ), is amended—

(1)

in subsection (a)

(A)

in paragraph (1), by striking $1,500,000 and inserting $2,000,000 ;

(B)

in paragraph (2), by striking $750,000 and inserting $1,000,000 ; and

(C)

in paragraph (4), by striking 1,500,000 and inserting $2,000,000 ; and

(2)

by adding at the end the following new subsection:

(f) Waiver

The Secretary may waive or modify the dollar amounts in subsection (a) on a case-by-case basis, if the Secretary—

(1)

determines that it would be in the best interest of the program; and

(2)

provides the congressional defense committees notice of such modification or waiver not later than 30 days after making such modification or issuing such waiver.
