Section Text · Sec. 2867.

(a) Reports required

Prior to the completion of each decennial census, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Director of the Census a report that identifies, with respect to each military installation located in the contiguous United States, the number of—

(1)

military personnel who reside on such installation; and

(2)

civilian personnel who reside on such installation.

(b) Coordination

In carrying out subsection (a), the Secretary of Defense shall coordinate with the Secretaries of the military departments.

(c) Military installation defined

In this section, the term military installation has the meaning given that term in section 2801 of title 10, United States Code.
