Requirement for equivalent role postings for vacant positions at Department of Veterans Affairs

Title VI: Veterans’ Assuring Critical Care Expansions to Support Servicemembers · Subtitle C: Staffing Matters

Plain-language summaryAI

When the Department of Veterans Affairs has a job opening that could be filled by different types of professionals or clinicians, it should post the vacancy for all those possible roles whenever practical. This approach is especially important for positions that are difficult to fill or keep, such as primary care and mental health care jobs.
